Major: Yuurichi eyes modelling progress


For one of my scenes; Yuurichi will be introduced with his eyes opening. Here is the drawing and modelling process;













Major: Failed animation attempts




In After Effects, i followed a tutorial to create a depth map and a 3D looking image of my painting of Yuurichi. It didn't work no matter how many times i tried; and you can barely see any movement. Even thought I tried, I won't use this technique.


             

              

 Here, I tried to use the AE pins; the result isn't quite what I want either.

I'm not entirely happy with how this scene looks, so I may change it soon. It will be a placeholder for now.

Major: Scene 2 Final

I adjusted the timing of the puppet tool and improved the animation:

Painting process of the nursery class room as well as me, my mum and teacher.








In After Effects, I used a camera and had the background and characters on different layers, and moved the camera about. I also used pins to create "joints" for subtle movement in the characters. Here is the animation test; there is an error where the leg snaps about though:
