Adobe Photoshop Painting Studies
Left: Reference image; right, my paintings.
A GIF process of the apples painting.
Today, in our Photoshop class we completed two studies of pieces of fruit. I really enjoyed the session as I love to paint in PS, and experimenting with the textured brushes helped to give a more painty / realistic feel to the studies. I feel the colour version went better than the greyscale, partly because we were able to colour pick the colours straight from the image, and the image is bright. The greyscale really tests your skill of tonal values and I feel I can improve on this. I look forward to our future sessions.
