Going for a more vibrant style, I'm thinking of changing my target audience to secondary school children (to be shown in classes). I've looked at Samurai Jack environments and researched other simple, clean environment styles. The setting is going towards a cave like setting, and I was also looking at the desert and pyramids but I though how would it be connected...but at this stage I feel quite stuck and would like some feedback / inspiration.
Also, I'm going for this style as it's the complete opposite of my realistic style and I'm liking the results of being out of my comfort zone.
I like the strength of these, Mish - keep going! 1 is nicely evocative, as I like the slight 'dirt' effect, so that the colours have texture and noise. In terms of putting together some bold colour combos that work together, check out this colour scheme designer - always useful!
