Artists Toolkit: Maya Common Shaders
In today's session, we explored some common shaders in Maya. This was an enjoyable exercize - and although the set up for Maya was much more complex, after some time it was easy to get used to. I did run into some problems when it came to texturing the glass and gold: originally, the gold was much too bright (yellow) so I choose a warmer colour, which corrected this. With the glass, the colour was white and almost see through and didn't resemble glass at all, but with Simon's help I got to a great result.
